Whistling sound with Oracle!

Believe it or not!
After a few hours with Oracle 8.1.7, my computer starts a whistling sound! The sound is so annoying that it forces me to reboot the box. After, I can work a few hours more without the sound.

This only happens when I am working with Oracle SQL PLUS.

Win2k sp2, PIII 850, 512 MB of RAM
