ODBC would be okay for moving the data, but you'll still have to recreate the data model in Oracle. If the data has out grown Filemaker, it's likely complex enough to deserve proper treatment. This isn't like moving a spreadsheet from Lotus 123 to Excel. I'd suggest you first start by learning the features of Relational Database systems and Oracle in particular.
If you need someone to do this for you, let me know and we'll set up a contract. Conversions are what I do.
