Oracle 8.1.7 Enterprise Server error

Hi folks,

I installed Oracle 8.1.7 including Enterprise Manager and Intelligent agent in my linux machine. After the listener and intelligent agent were started in that machine, I used emca to configure the Enterprise Manager. However, when I started the Enterprise Manager, it couldn't find any node or database in my machine. Actually, I have already build a database and it's tables in this machine and I can use sqlplus scott/tiger_at_sid.host
to connect to it. Does anyone know what's the problem?
