yes. we have proc and the command itself workd fine - compiles to c code. it's the compile from c code that i can't do - cc can't find the libraries. so i need a makefile...

i don't have this. i don't have a demo directory. they probably deleted it to save space after the install...
do you know if i copy the file from somewhere else (i found it on the net) will it still work or will i have to tweak it? i know absolutely nothing about makefiles as i've never had to use one...
