The people doing the install must have been morons. I have installed Oracle (7.1 thru 8.17)on a variety of platforms, including NT, and never had it take 4 man days. The main limitation was how fast the CD -rom drive was and the disk drives on the server. But gee that has more to do with hardware than any particular software.
