I am not sure this is the correct forum for this question, but someone may have the answer.

We are running Oracle v8.0.1 Enterprise Server on a Compaq Alpha Server 8400 running Digital UNIX 4.0E.

We were accessing the DB on the Server from a Workstation running NT 4.0, Oracle 8.0 Client, and Merant ODBC 3.6.

I upgraded the workstation from NT 4.0 to Windows 2000. My question is

Can I install Oracle 8.0 Client on Windows 2000 and configure it as it was under NT or do I need Oracle 8.1.7 for the workstation ? Received on Tue Jul 17 2001 - 12:15:36 CDT
