R30RBE Help!

I am running a reports 3.0 report from a forms 5.0 form. each time i start up the form Reports Background engine also starts (R30RBE) but when I leave my form R30RBE is still there and needs to be manually shut down. I start my forms with Background = No but R30RBE always starts up. The reports are started from forms using run product.

Does anybody have any ideas as to how i can - avoid starting R30RBE or
shut R30RBE down automatically when I log out of my application or after the report has finished.

I have to use run product because the calling menu is generic and may call graphics instead of reports.
