Have you checked out http://technet.oracle.com > documentation I'd recommend drilling into the "Oracle8i & Oracle8i JVM" link > General Documentation (HTML) > Oracle8i Java Documentation

Most of Oracle's documentation is on that site. (Registration is free w/ optional spam signup).
