Oracle On the Job Training

I am looking for a company that would be willing to hire and train me as an Oracle DBA in the U.S.. I am also looking at taking the Oracle DBA program through the University of Alberta. I am at present a software engineer and would like to enter the DBA world. Please e-mail me if you can help or have any advice.
