I want to change the apps password on our 11i install, and setup an apps_r (read-only) schema with synonyms and grants (select only) ...

I generated sql from sql, but am not sure this is the best solution (should re-run after every patch ?) ... isn't there an Oracle utility or published/tested code/script to do this ?? I encountered problems with synonyms for all java classes (names start with /number) ...

Any feedback will be appreciated ...
