Newbie help please on installation!

Installing on RH6.2 -Oracle 8.1.6



Installation works ok up until I try to use Sqlplus when I receive this
message -



"sqlplus: error in loading shared libraries:
/usr/local/oracle/8i/u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.5/lib/libcIntsh:
Undefined symbol: sigtidu"



I would really appreciate some asistance with finally getting the product
installed.
