Installation problem O 8.1.7 on Windows2000

Hello everybody,


i have a problem installing Oracle8i Release 3 (8.1.7) on Windows 2000.




When running the Oracle8i Installer from CD, the installation begins and after a 
few seconds the installer stops, ends abruptly. No errors or text are displayed. 
Path is set correct to c:\winnt\system32. Maybe this is a JAVA runtime problem?




Any ideas to this problem?
