Help! IAS can not work

I installed ias,webdb on my personal computer(win2000 professional), the ias,webdb work well just after installation. but when i reboot the computer, restart the services,then connect to the webserver with ie, it said it need to connect to network, or just work in offline status. the computer installs a newwork adapter and works properly. the win2000 only report that the cable is not be connected. other web service(eg:weblogic server) runs well. who can tell me what should i do to get out of it? thanks a lot!
