Loading an Oracle 8.05 database with a flat file

I am trying to figure out the best method to take a flat file and
create an automated way to load an Oracle 8.05 database.  Im not sure
if SQL Loader is the best tool.  I will be taking fields from the flat
file and loading different fields into different tables.
