If you're running 32 bit Oracle, you have a 1.75 (at best) Gb memory limit. Theoretically, you can simultaneously run as many instances as allowed by the 1.75 Gb memory limit with 32 bit Oracle. One thing to consider when allocating your SGA's is the amount of memory required by the OS. If you utilize the entire 1.75 Gb for your databases, you're leaving .25 Gb (250 Mb) for the OS to operate. 250 Mb should be MORE than enough but just something to keep in mind for future reference.
If you're concerned with performance, move this configuration off of the Xeon box. With an Intel based system, you're performance will never be as good as it will be on any Unix system (HP, Sun, AIX, etc).
