I tried to Oracle8i personal edition release 2 (8.1.6) on windows ME, it doesn't work. I got error as:

"There was a problem in accessing the staging area. Please make sure the specified value for 'Source' and 'Destination' are valid."

Looks like Oracle 8i personal editon relesae does not support Windows ME.
