Last night I substituted Discoverer 3i User edition for Discoverer 3.1.36 Admin Edition and the installation worked all the way up to when prompted to insert the Personal Edition disk. (Meaning Forms and Reports installed ok that time.) At that point, the installer was looking for data in another Oracle home than the one specified at the beginning of the installer session. I think this may mean that Discoverer and Personal Edition need separate Oracle Homes on the same windows box. I love all the little discoveries one makes when using Oracle installer disks. I'll try this morning. Thanks for the readme file on this one. "I am [Oracle], king of kings. Look upon my works ye mighty and despair." HHO1/2K
