With a 8.1.5 client, the microsoft ODBC driver worked fine. But when I
installed  8.1.6 client, the ODBC connection from a ASP application was
failing. Though the Oracle ODBC test was successful. I was frusturated and
used Oracle ODBC driver. This works fine..
