In general Oracle connectivity is done by specifying a tnsnames alias for an oracle connect string. Thus I would ecxpect to find this entry in the registry of a Wintel Machine and the actual IP address in the host string in tnsnames.ora.

On my machine this entry is found in the ODBC\ODBC.INI\<DSN>\SERVER key for an MS oracle driver.
