Suggest you go to a bookstore - a number of Oracle Press and other Osborne books have trial CDs in the jacket. Buy that CD for $50-80 and you get a free book out of the deal <g>.
Strongly advise to get the 'personal edition', which is the full Enterprise Edition except for Parallel Server. Not much difference between Enterprise & Standard as far as the exams go. The code size for both is about the same as well, so learn it with all features enabled. Oracle Lite is a completely different animal - don't use that to learn for the exam.
If you can afford it, the best way to get the software is through a
Technology Track at
http://technet.oracle.com/software/htdocs/track_benefits.htm where for
$200US you get a complete set of CDs and 2-3 updates for the following
year. I received my CDs the next day!
I am also interested whether it loads on ME - I suspect it doesn't.
