I was just wondering: a week's DBA course would add up to $2k - not $7k...
$7k would get you 3-4 weeks in class, enough for the complete OCP-track.

btw, I don't have that kind of money to spend, either. And I would rather spend 2k on a fairly decent computer and fiddle around then go to class, given the choice. (but than again, I have a fairly decent computer...)
