Hmmm, getting suspicious here.
What versions of what products?
Designer/2000 and Designer up to and including V6 use
the V7 RSF, and thus basically is a V7 product.
V7 products on NT use orant\network\admin.
V8 network uses orant\net8\admin
(don't wanna' know why - for 8i, it's back to network...)
Could that be the source of your problem? This PL/SQl
tool using the V7 network, and not V8?
introduce tns_admin = c:\orant\net8\admin into your registry
(HLKM\Software\Oracle), and maintain all network config files
there.
