Hi everyone,
I am sorry about this, I been tinkling around with it and all and I have gotten a bit more information on it. When I am connection to the PE database, the database seems to be called 'ORACLE'.

However, when I try to connect to it via the Developer 2000 SQL*PLUS and I use the default or either : scott/ tiger or internal/oracle I get an error of:
ORA-12203: Unable to connect to destination. However, if I use the same user/password and supply ORACLE as the Host to connect to, I get this error : ORA-12154: TNS:can not resolve service name.

Please can someone help casue unless I get this working and all, I can't install the demo package and I can't learn reports. =o(
