data dictionary tool for report designers?

Hi folks,

Can anyone recommend a good data dictionary or schema browser tool for people who will be writing reports? The reports will be written in Crystal Reports 8 - I'm not familiar with that, so I don't know if it has something like this. But we've got a fairly complex database structure, and the various departments will have report writers. I don't want to spend my time explaining the database structure to them (probably will anyway). TOAD was suggested, but it's too easy to change live data. I need something that can be read-only, but still give a reasonably competent user information on tables and relationships.

Thanks,
Harry
