Oracle 8i Startup?

I'm running 8i Enterprise on Windows 2000.  Our network went down and I
have been unable to get Oracle up again.  The Service application just
hangs.



The Event Viewer Application log starts with an error with
the "OracleOraHome81Manager" then with "Userenv" and then on to each of
our crreated Oracle Services.



Can anyone give me advice as to how I can re-start the DB in Win2000?
