Thanks Shashank, for the response. But I am interested in finding out the issues with using a BFILE instead of iFS.

I know the rigmarole with using a BFILE -- going through the DBMS_LOB package and all that instead of ordinary selects/inserts. Does this change with the iFS? It says that the files etc are saved on the filesystem itself. How would I then map these things into my webpages?

Would appreciate any experiences.
