ORA-12514/12560. Someone with knowledge please help.

        My problem is I have Oracle running fine on Win2k and can connect on the SAME computer using SQL Plus.

However when i'm on another computer trying to use SQL Plus and connecting with the SAME values that work locally.. I get 12514: unable to resolve SERVICE_NAME ... 12560: protocol adapter error.

I just wanna be able to connect from this computer (Win98) to my database so I can learn .. I'm getting really pissed cause Win2k is my GF's computer and she doesn't like me on it :)
