Start with some, order by others?

Kind people,

I have a list of countries I'd like to present. Given the givens, I'd like to start with certain countries, then the others in alphabetical order.

What I'd like back:

NAME                                               COUNTRY_ID

Afghanistan                                              4

How do I do this?

I don't know what's wrong with my television set. I was getting
C-Span and the Home Shopping Network on the same station. I actually
