Assuming Solaris is downwards compatible (officially this is true for
Windoze, but the truth is different), you shouldn't have any problem.
IMO, for questions like this you would better query the support
database at technet.oracle.com.
As to exports, the export format is host-platform independent. Again
you shouldn't run into problems.
