ORACLE DBA NEEDED-Upstate, New York

My client company located in a small town in the Southern Tier is seeking a person to manage and maintain all production and non-production relational databases. This includes database design, security administration, space managment, upgrade and version control, performance monitoring, and tuning, standards creation, enforcement, and scheduling.

Strategically they must keep current with all technologies related to database management and recommend tactical or strategic directional changes which support the business mission.

B.S. in Computer Science and 2+ years in Oracle administration required. Must be experienced in Oracle database administration
(DBA), Solaris, AIX, or Windows NT, Sybase or SQL server database
 administration and SAP basic technology.
