Does anyone have or know of a better soundex type function than the one that
comes with Oracle.



Since the Oracle Function keeps the first letter it does not find things
like Cs that may be pronounced K



Example:


Actual word "KIPLING"


Search for Soundex('CIPLING') will not find KIPLING.
