Oracle client 16 Bit + Windows2000

I have an hold applicacation who's needed an oracle 16 bit client. I have 
a general protection fault in a SQL16W95.DLL.
Anybody have experiences on this subject ?
I know the 16 bit client is not supported by Oracle, but I need a solution.
