According to my calculator that means the configuration they tested on only cost $14,231,574! DB2 is an excellent product and over the long haul I suspect that DB2 will prove to be the only viable competitor to Oracle at the high end of the spectrum.
Just thinking, I wonder how many processors and disk drives you can buy for 14.2 million bucks?
