replication from SQL server to Oracle

I have posted this question before also but didn't get any answer so I'm trying again.

We've been replicating some tables from a SQL server to a web db which is also SQL server. But we're planning to replace web db with Oracle DB. So I'm trying to replicate some tables to Oracle DB. While doing that the SQL server7 database gives the error message 'could not establish connection to the server'. It is obvious the sqlserver 7 db could not talk to Oracle db.

But I came accross a document which says 'To replicate to Oracle ODBC subscribers, you must also obtain the appropriate Oracle SQL*Net driver from Oracle or from your software vendor.' I think Net 8 can replace SQL Net.

Is there any reference material available or any idea how to achieve the replication?
