Problem with Oracle and Microfocus Netexpress3 Cobol

Hi Folks,

we want to insert a row in a Oracle8-table, with a column which is defined as
numeric (4,2).
Using the insert-statement produces an oracle-error ORA-1722, the numeric-host-variable has the value X'0001722C'. With Intersolv-ODBC-Driver it works, but not with Oracle-ODBC-Driver.

• Is there anybody having same or equal environment and problems?
• What can we do, to use the Oracle-ODBC-Driver correctly?

Background-Information:
Server Novell Netware 4.11 SP7

           Oracle 8.0.3.0.8a
Client Windows NT 4.0 SP5

          ODBC Driver 8.0.4.0
