I'd recommend getting the SQL black book. It comes with working copies of
Oracle8i as well as db2, SQL server and informix.
You would be fine installing a personal version 8i (win95/98) for learning
(I'd really go with 8i myself as the internet is where all the cool stuff is
going on)
Oracle 8i Web Development is also an amazing book if you want to get into
web development. Although you might want to start with Oracle 8i For
Starters.
