Kevin,

IMPORTANT STUFF HERE - PLEASE READ! FTP is now completely gone, completely dead, and I can't find the package to reinstall it. :( Point me in the right direction please.

CVS is now completely installed on your Linux box. All we need is WinRoute to let 2401 pass through to 192.168.1.212 and we're in business. And, actually, I was able to connect to my CVS server from evisions successfully. So, Myke will be able to check in and out to my server. The only problem is that cumulous.dynhost.com isn't always pointing to my computer (depending on whether I was able to update my IP with Dynhost that hour or not). So I'd still prefer to set it all up on your Linux box.

I think it's about time to migrate all the stuff I've done to your Oracle server (Linux box). The instance we've named CLAY on my Linux box is what I've been using as the "virgin" installation which only has the EVIPROGRAM table populated. We should set up a new instance on your box called FF_INSTALL and prepare it to be the build instance.

Do you think you'll be able to ever install a full-blown Banner installation (including student module) on a Linux box? Can we get something from SCT in good faith? The Solaris compiling issue is really dragging us down. Now that we're at a calm in-between point for FormFusion I think it might be wise to configure a Linux system for doing this. If instructions are straight-forward enough I can handle the install on my Linux box (from scratch, Linux included) and you can continue doing your "tech-support".

Well, that's my 2 cents worth. Have a good weekend, I'll talk to you on Monday.
