You say that currently it's considered better to define a default storage clause per tablespace. But that way the problem seems not to be solved whereby: 1- If the default INITIAL EXTENT is quite small respect the size of the table I'm going to create, I risk the table will get split into too many extents 2- If I create a tablespace with a default INITIAL EXTENT and NEXT quite large, the database will surely be highly fragmented as I'm going to create very small tables
