Oracle8 and Oracle8i.

Pls excuse me for thes very basic question but they tend to confuse me:-

What is the difference between Oracle8 and Oracle8i. I am planning to go for Oracle ILT course on new features for Oracle8. But the only "New Features" course they offer are on Oracle8i. Can I go for Oracle8i course instead of Oracle8 New features course?

Also are Oracle8 and Oracle RDB products the same or different? what are the differences.
