Connecting to NT Oracle from Linux Java application? Anything special needed on Linux box?

Hello,

I have a java client application that runs on an NT box and connects to Oracle on another NT box.
The client app runs fine on 'clean' NT boxes installed as is, with just application jar files and classes12.zip.

Do I need to do or install anything special on a 'clean' Linux box to get the same app to run on Linux and talk to Oracle on an NT box? Is it sufficient to simply include the same jar files I use with the NT stuff?

Also, am I correct to assume that the JDBC stuff is all in classes12.zip and this works under Linux?

Thanks for any help.
