Where to run Enterprise Manager

I have a Sun box running Oracle 8i. Since I work remotely, the only way to access the OEM on the Sun box is thru X-Win. Can you install the NT version of Enterprise Manager on an NT/2000 machine and control the database remotely? Also, if yes to the last question, is there anything I need to activate on the other end to listen other than the regular database instance listener service? THanks.

Steve
