A separate document about migration outlining all scenarios comes with Oracle 8.
The main issue is any scripts or applications using the Oracle 7 rowid explicitly.
If you use the migration utility the rowids will not be changed until the row is updated.
If you use the exp/imp route *all* rows will get a new rowid. This might be desirable, if you need to change your applications and won't be able to live in a hybrid situation.
