Hello Jost,
the same problem occurs on NT Server with Ora Version 8.0.4.

Officially Ora 8.0.4 doesn't runs under Win98! There are probs with Winsock2.

Every time i got this constellation I'm installing a patch for NET8 and it runs, well. The patch must be Version 8.0.4.0.3.
