SQL*Plus Constantly crashes ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I connect to a remote DB using SQL*Plus using Oracle 8.1.6. Both databases are 8.1.6 level.

The following command :

        copy from me/me_at_123.123.23.1 create testh using select * from test;
gives me :

        "The instruction at "0x6047f6fa" referenced memory at "0x000000fc". The memory could not be "read".

Can any one help?
