Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.tools -> compile a package problem
Is there a way to compile a package body and not force the users to reconnect? The package compiles with no problems but the users get the following error until they reconnect.
ORA-04068: existing state of packages has been discarded
ORA-04061: existing state of package body "CPCOMP1.FSBO_ADS" has been
invalidated
ORA-04065: not executed, altered or dropped package body
"CPCOMP1.FSBO_ADS"
ORA-06508: PL/SQL: could not find program unit being called
ORA-06512: at line 1
again the package is not invalid.
