I assume you are following the instructions and
running /mnt/cdrom/runInstaller.sh.  Rather than running that script,
go to the /mnt/cdrom/install/linux directory (I hope that's correct, it
has been a while since I did an install) and run runIns.sh instead.
That should take care of the problem.
