Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.tools -> 8.1.5 EE vs Linux/i386 2.2.14 SMP: Does anyone use such configuration?
Some time ago we start using Oracle 8.1.5.0.2 EE for Intel Linux. Now we have big problem with such configuration. We use production machine Linux 2.2.14 + PIII 450 MHz + 256 MB RAM) and development Linux box Linux 2.2.14 + 2 x PIII 500 MHz + 512 MB RAM.
Production machine is ok, but when we try to start same Reports form at development box, we have
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [15819], [0], [1], [6659], [], [], []
or
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [xtycsr3], [], [], [], [], [], [], []
sql select is executed.
Well, we can just swap hard disk and then we have problem at Dual PIII machine and have fun at single PIII machine. SMP kernel have just the same problems as it's nosmp brother at dual PIII machine.
Does anyone use such Software+Hardware configuration?
