Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.tools -> Oracle ODBC problem on foreign version of NT server 4
The application I'm working on is an ASP / IIS 4 with an Oracle 8.1.5 accessed via ODBC (the Oracle 8.1.5 ODBC driver). The server has SP6a installed.
The application was originately developed on a US version of NT 4 and everything was working OK.
The product is now installed in Europe on UK and French version of NT 4 and there is now 1 major issue:
In any SQL request that return a number, the data type is not setup correctly and the value is set to 0. The only solution found is to put a TO_NUMBER(....) in the request, however I don't want to change this in every place !
I tried by installing MDAC 2.1 SP2 then MDAC 2.5 but no luck.
Any idea ?
