Hi,

got a problem to find the liszense numbers for our Oracle 8.x Enterprise Edition....

Currently I got the task to collect information on inhouse used software and I got to check
for Serials and liszens numbers as well.

Problem is, we have Oracle 8i EE in use and got the neccessary bills and packages, but
theres no liszence number to be found anywhere so far.

We lost our Oracle Administrator lately and can cover just the basics currently :(

So where can this information be found ?

I know that some information is stored in the DB as well and that some software also keeps
registering and liszense information in itself.

thought that might be the case here as well.

The bill just states Oracle 8i.... blabla ...5 concurrent users....price blabla.

does it mean that just 5 connection lines may be opened to the DB ? at least thats something i found on the
OTN. Anyway, is there a way to find out what liszense numbers are in coming along with that package.

Advice very much appreciated
