Hi,

as I need to guarantee a response within a given time I need to know a way to limit the time a query consumes to e.g. 30 seconds. The desired result is either the requested data (within the given time) or a timeout error message.
Is there a way to implement this without having administrative access, i.e. via additional parameters.
The application accesses the database via Embedded SQL, the database version is 7.3.4.
